Old City House Ohrid

Privacy

This page describes exactly what Old City House does with your details. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

When you request a stay we store the name, email address, and — if you give one — the phone number and country you type into the form, along with your dates, the number of guests, and any message you write. Nothing else.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The only cookies this site sets are the one remembering your chosen language and the one protecting the reservation form against forgery. Both are necessary for the site to work.

Why we need it

To hold your dates, confirm your stay, and reach you if something changes. We have no other use for it and we do not sell or share it for marketing.

Who else sees it

Our calendar is shared with the booking channels we list on, so that the same night cannot be sold twice. That shared calendar contains only the dates that are taken — never your name, your email, or anything else about you.

Emails to you are sent through our mail provider, which handles the message in transit. The site runs on a rented server in Europe.

How long we keep it

We keep reservation records while they are current and afterwards for as long as local bookkeeping rules require. Requests that never became a stay are removed once they are clearly no longer relevant.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will answer. Email Oldcityhouse@outlook.com.

Payments

We take no payment through this site and never ask for card details on it. If anyone asks you to enter card details here, it is not us.

This describes our practice in plain language. It is not legal advice, and it should be reviewed before launch against the rules that apply where the house is registered.
